Very nice again, Pete. The tones are just right for the time of year and the contrast. Like arms reaching up. It may be because I have Bach's Bm Mass playing in the background, but I'm seeing a religious connotation here. But that's all illusory - nature going through it's endless cycle. And we are part of it, not mere spectators. Beautiful.

Thanks Rob. I can see what you mean. What drew me to the tree in the first place, apart from the colour (grey) and texture of the bark, was the rather thick, short side-branches. It reminded me of the effect that a hoar frost has on trees.
