Me, Weird Dan and Ben Jennings went for a wonder up the hill near me and made a video about spinning hot wire wool for interesting effect in photos ...
Here it is...

Great video chaps - always wondered how it was done! :)

Looks suitably autumnal in your neck of the woods?

Had to use sunblock here today - factor 70!

Hey Hamish,

I'll get my photos sorted tonight and up on the site.

Fantastic :)

I wondered how the wire wool was held, I would not of thought of using a whisk.

Can you hear your name mentioned a few times or is it too windy to hear what Dan is saying?

I am going to have to listen again..........I trust it's derogatory and all in the best possible taste. :)

Moi paranoid.............never, t'is good you go prepared though;)BTW have you ever seen a hooman torch? Quite spectacular...........specially when wire wool is stuffed in their trouser pockets :D :D

Hahaha!! Always prepared when there's fire involved. Lol.
Hamish, what you've done on the B+W shot is just awesome!! Never thought of dropping the clarity when converting into b+w.
That's why I never liked the conversion when I did it.
I'll get some links on tonight :)

Make sure they're not coated in a wax/cleaning agent..... Or it won't ignite. :)

maybe you should learn some Poi, with two it would look cool, like this............
