With the window

Confession time - I'm not a fan of kids and baby images. There should be a warning :o in the thread title - like for spiders in macro shots, so I know not to go there...

- but that first is a cracker!

The first shot is an absolute corker. The best one of Connie yet!
I really like that one!
I always get shots of my kids gorping at the T.V and not out of the window.
I find the 'looking out of the window' type of shots very very effective!

Stunning!

You and Xp2 Hamish - you should buy shares :)

That's a wonderful shot - not just because of the innocence of the subject, or the lovely window light, or the comp with the frame leading you in from the corner - it's the feeling that Connie is growing up, and is off in her own world - and you've captured a moment of it.

First one is very nice, Hamish, and first is first in composition for me. But the second has that human content Pete was addressing to. Two winners here. :)

Thanks Dan, she does spend quite some time tv gorping, but her attention span does run out ... Sometimes she even turns the thing off and goes and plays quietly ... Of course sometimes she also bashes the dogs with her toy broom ... She can't be perfect all the time :)

Thanks Chris, I often wonder what's goin on in her little pea head ... She quite often goes to the window and knocks on it if people are there ... Sometimes she does it and there is no one there ... I guess they must have quite a level of imagination in some ways at that age!

Thanks Nihat, as I said in another thread it's hard to judge some of these shots for my self, so I'm glad others see merit in them
