Right, well in total I had bid on 11 I believe, different cameras for decorations.
A few went for ridiculous prices ( one went for £43! ) I've not got a clue have I, I went for looks.

Well anyway today was the ending day for many listings, in total, I won one auction, for 3 cameras.
Here's the picture provided by them:

Now that's clarity for you ;)

Another listing that I'm winning ends in a day or two..
I should have the three delivered by weds, maybe thurs. so ill post a better picture then.

Working condition... Who knows?
Cosmetic condition... Who knows?
Cost: £5 .
Raped for postage? Absolutely.

:D

Nice haul Adam - I see a Kodak, and is that a Yashica RF on the left?

What Kodak is that btw? Guessing its medium format?

The cosmic in the middle is an export version of the classic "lomo" camera the Smena-8 ... Great camera! (Massive pile of crap - but a lot of fun) You have to cock the shutter separately from the film advance. I have had a couple.

Right, they arrived today, stank like a charity shop, I couldn't work out how to remove the cases 'cos I'm thick, finally managed it. The smell was almost knocking me out, so I got some deodorant out, and some 'elbow grease' <- aldi's version of Flash (kitchen cleaner), got out my mini screwdriver set, took some parts off, freshened them up a bit. Now they smell like a Chav with a cleaning job.
Have I got my technique yet for getting shunned? ;)
But anyway here's some pictures fresh from the phone:

I can't work out how to remove the back from the Kodak nor the other one (not the cosmic) . The Kodak has a metal tab thing, but I can't work it out, and the other has just a normal 'lip' style but that you yank I'm guessing? But it's stuck, which makes me think there is a lock to it?
Oh yeah, the cosmic had a roll in there too, but I think the rewind bit is broken, so I just tugged it back out :D

I'm great at this ain't I ;)

I can almost smell the lemony freshness from here! Looking good Adam. I would guess that you slide the tab on the Kodak either up or down to release the back (there may even be a little button associated with it too. The Halina back may be released by lifting the rewind arm up. Yank and tug are probably not in the manuals I suspect!

Yeah I thought that Pete, the metal bit is shaped a bit funny, as if it's meant to be pulled or pushed, theres a little gold metal button? Or just a piece of metal, there too, on the back cover bit, but it appears stuck. Ill have a fiddle.
And that would make sense with the winder... I thought it was a bit odd how a handle lifts up for winding, maybe it's for pulling :D
If it works ill let you know. And if it does. Out comes the kitchen cleaner lol.

Thought I'd also mention, the middle dial on the top of the Kodak, when you spin it around a little yellow filter comes across the viewfinder? I can see a red filter inside it too, but it appears to not move .. What use do the filters have? Just curious about that one...
