WTB Nikon D700 etc

I want two bodies, one MB10 grip, and a few of those big ENEL batteries.

cosmetics are largely unimportant but I won't consider anything with more than 75k on the shutter

By the time you have bought the grip and a few of enel4s you have probably spent enough to get a d3 ...
i used to have a d3 and d700 I wouldn't have dreamt of putting the grip on the d700 the frame rate increase was barely noticeable... The weight increase was

yeah maybe. don't care about frame rate; just want to standardise on one battery system. like the vertical button as well. hell, dual slots are nice though. you may have a point!

I'd second the D3 over a D700 too. I have 4! And with the right grip the same batteries fits the F6!
