X-Pro1 long exposure test - Palomar Airport

I re-visited Palomar Airport this evening, in an attempt to be arrested this time, whilst taking long exposure test shots with the X-Pro1 :p

Completed failed to get noticed by security - maybe they remembered me from last time, but did get a decent test done using the Fujinon 18mm wide angle lens.

Camera mounted on a tripod (looked a little silly as the camera is tiny and the tripod is HUGE) - 2 sec self timer used to avoid camera shake. Exposure used 'evaluative', which did a superb job of metering the scene after the sun had gone down, and twilight had set in.

ISO200 30 Sec f16 - JPEG from camera

Managed to find a slightly better angle of view with palm trees framing the shot, and no tree branches in the way! ;)

And what a lovely shot Chris. I'm sort of happy with my Nikon compact but not over the moon about it's sluggish interface and poor low light performance. When I'm looking for a conduit for my spare cash to travel down I think I know where I might find it...............

Thanks chaps - Hamish, I NEED RAW! :D

nows thats impressive.........!! Great location and light, taken just at the right time of day.

Great Work & Cant wait to see more

Thanks Darren - will be trying some more dusk/twilight shots I think - it was very nice to use working on the tripod

Nice one Darren. Great colours.
