Glenn, we the SoCal guys do not have any clue about 4 seasons. I like almost perpendicular complimentary filling of the frame by the spreading branch and its shadow on the snow.

we skirted major storms all winter long and got nothing. today it snows. never fails. the light and shadow make this shot. nice texture too, really makes things pop.

Thanks Beth...We got out of town (DC) yesterday. It was the coldest March trip we've had. Came home to 6 inches on the ground. Last year it was in the 70's and the cherry blossoms were past. Ya never know these days.
