Critique Welcomed Young Buskers

Looks like they have a lot of folding money there - or did you put the notes in just for the photograph, then take them out afterwards - like any good Scottish photographer would do?

Is the one on the right playing percussion on her ukulele?

Lovely image Brian a cracker in my view. They look as if they could be sisters or twins, having a lot of fun. No idea what your bits of paper money are worth but here all those bits of paper would be ok .

An image taken out of long gone times, well that's what it feels like to me. Being back there in 67, so thank you for bringing my heyday times back into memories. " Make love, not war!"

Ahem...! I can't believe you would think me so crass. No,...I tossed in a buck and then I asked their permission to take their picture. They agreed. (So I let them keep the buck:rolleyes:.)

Yes, Sam is playing percussion on the back of her uke. I found out later that Bridgette attends the Orange County School of Arts. I'm guessing Sam does too.

Yeah they were definitely having fun and doing OK Julian. I don't know who long they had been there but they were taking a few dollars home and that was nice.

They do have a kind of Hippie "flower child" look about them Ivar. (Did the Hippie flower child look establish itself in Norway also Ivar,...and if so did the flower children wrap flowers around their horned helmets?)

Not certain if those horns where on the helmets Brian, I think they were real horny people ;)

At the hippie time Brian, I was in California and B.C., Canada and as Julian indicates, as naughty as he is:eek::oops:, there was most likely other things they wrapped themselves in :D I was too busy doing my stuff than wonder what they were doing in my old country.;)

That's a pity you can't tell me Ivar. I am left to wonder now.:)

Lovely shot Brian and the angle of the Ukelele works well in the composition I think. Nice warm tones too. And you can even see their auras soaring (stand method for dev?).

As for the generous donation - do you remember the opening sequence of Top Cat by any chance?! ;)

Thanks Pete. Yes, stand dev in Rodinal. No, don't know the Top Cat reference. I'll google it.
