Took this shot of a distant building from the balcony of the California Museum of Photography in Riverside. The strange patterns are reflections of a high-rise building whose light these windows reflect.

Used my Canon 7D and Tamron 18-270 at full out telephoto of 270mm. (I wonder what that yields, focal length equivalency-wise on the 7D's crop sensor?)
 
I like the effect the reflections give on the windows.

I'm not sure but I think the "crop factor" on the 7D is the same as my 450D and if so it's a 1.6 "crop factor".
So that would make the equivalent field of view roughly 432mm.
 
Thank Glen and Pete. I've seen a little vignetting at that focal distance with this lens but it doesn't seem to be noticeable in this image.
