I was in the window seat on a night time flight somewhere over a Midwestern (USA) city some years ago. I thought I'd try to get an image of the lights on the ground so I steadied my camera on the windowsill and pressed the shutter button. At that moment the air got a little bumpy.

On 2nd Street in Seattle. As you can see the descending darkness overwhelmed my ability to hold the camera steady for the exposure time required. Nevertheless it's an image that holds some appeal for me.
