why didn't anyone tell me this was such a good lens? all i ever heard was about it being a paperweight. came in the mail yesterday while i was at work, had to work today and tomorrow so i took it to work today to play. hopefully monday i'll get a chance to play with it outside of work.

I have a bat phone, sadly its not wired up but it does have a dial on which I just love the sound of, yes I know a tad sad, oh and its black.

thanks guys. hopefully monday or tuesday i'll get something worth photographing.

the phone is pretty cool. we have a couple of these, some look newer and have number pads, some are older like this one. whether it does or doesn't it automatically rings on the other end when you pick it up. the numbers are useless. we do almost all communication through software now so the bat phones are going away, except for new castle county which has one of the highest crime rates in the country.

thanks chris and pete. the fireboard phone number used to be registered to an undercover narcs officer more than 10 years ago. we still get phone calls from people looking for their fix. it's usually pretty hilarious when it rings.
