We've been looking through my wife's late father's photos - he used a Leica IIIf, which Susan has inherited - and I was really taken with how small the prints were, and how good-quality the paper and prints were. So, I thought I'd down-size for this post, make you lazy lot work a bit harder

Mostly taken at Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens.

Leica M Monochrom, B+W orange filter, B+W ND filter. LR6 and occasional use of Nik Silver for sepia toning.

The high contrast b&w does make for striking images. A good set, the first and last ones are my favourites.

A fine set and I agree with your observation on small prints done well - they seem more intimate somehow.

A damn fine set here too. Love the square dog and the second to last leaves.

Cheers, Pete. Some work better than others. Fun to try. I've yet to print anything this small on, say, an A4 sheet.
