So I wander and enjoy myself...

Oh hoi there's land up ahead.

But I'm steadily moving on. The ferry would not wait for me.

On mainland again.
Hope you enjoyed a trip to the islands. All done in Jpeg with Fuji xt1 and xt10.

I agree with what Rense said. I would have loved to spend time there. Is the wooden bridge going over a stream flowing into the fjord or is it just an inlet? I ask, because I wondered if it got a salmon run. I've read that salmon fishing in Norway is the best in the world.

Thank you John. It is the fjord as narrow as can be right here, between two islands. The bigger fjord is the one where you see the ferry and towards the two bridges where the river runs out into the fjord. Between those two bridges is where I live as you probably have assumed. There is trout and salmon coming up from the ocean and fjord, going up, passing me and into the interior of the county of Telemark. We have 200 km from where I live to where the river starts and a waterway all the way where fairly big boats can go, with several locks and staircases made for the fish alongside the locks. Built back in the 1980ies. I'm having trout for dinner today John.:)

I am rarely envious of others, but I'll make an exception for you. :)
