After Dark Of Course ;);)

Oh, Darren, the 2nd is a real corker. I now want to move to a large city and risk muggings, propositions from crack heads, and being vomited on by drunks in the early hours to have a go at what you do. Tell me, is Liverpool safe or do you just look very mean :D

These are excellent shots..what sort of exposure were you using, Darren?

And Paul..when I first did night shots it was on Canning Town Road in the darkest depths of East London.
That was an educaion, explaining to everyone as they came out of the pub...yes, I do know its dark...actually there is enough light to take a picture...no, I'm not David Bailey....

o yes i am 18 stone miserable & ard looking flucker with shaved head (& solid heavy tripod).........LMAO

I am from Manchester and know Liverpool quite well, i mooch about around the areas where there are usually loads of people after dark which makes you feel a bit safer, but really have to keep your wits about you walking around after dark with few ks of camera equipment. I usually just take what i need also.

earlier darker night a a real bonus to :-) these were taken around 8.30pm a few nights ago

Get out there, if your a little worried take a mate with you.

Small World! I went to school in Canning Town. I know exactly what you mean about the place after dark. Once walking back to a friends after a New Years Party a very drunk guy who I never met before went from hugging me to waving a baseball bat at me in less than 5 minutes. Not bad I suppose, looking back I would have thought his attention span was far less than that. te hee.

Looking great Daz, I'm really liking these night shots of yours. :)

Great set Darren! Love #2, for a sec I thought it was St Pauls in London ;)

I also like #1 a lot. The reflection of the meseum light on water at night and the sparkling street lights make the scene look surreal.

I love #2 - shots that have light trails hanging in mid air, sort of 3D, look so cool! :)

All of them are very nice - but #2 is extra special - good job council workers move slowly.. he's hardly even blurred in your shot! :D

Darren, I think you should do us a night shooting tutorial! ;)
I agree.
Maybe get your nephew to film you on a shoot with your posh new phone;).

oooooooooo i will give it a bash sometime SOON............!!
