A few tasty cars at Dusseldorf

These set me drooling on my trip to Dusseldorf. There must have been millions of pounds worth of classic cars in this place :)

nice tones and the lighting looks great for a car museum (was the ceiling all windows?). i like how you've managed to separate the cars from the ones next to them. my favorite is the jag xk 150, but the lotus looks pretty good too.

The lighting was superb owing to (as you have deduced) a glass roof. I was able to use my T50 with 200 ASA Fuji and just natural light. The building was originally some sort of railway building, but is ideal for taking photos of all the delightful cars. I could put a few more in if there is interest in them.

Great images, Stan. 2nd one is almost moving, and my favorite. These vehicles have character! :)

I had a Cortina too, but it was a '67 (or a '68 maybe,...cannae remember noo) and definitely not the Lotus variety. Great wee car, though. Very nice set, Stan. I for one would like to see more.

A couple more:

The roller is a 1929 totally original "barn find" unwashed as yet. A cool 120,000 Euros; I wanted to remortgage but my wife didn't approve :)

What a cracking set - love the DOF isolation of the cars

The Fuji film provided some lovely colors
