A modern box camera?

I gave been sampling some early Kodak Browniees for a 35mmc article which led me to this Vivitar EZ Motor Big View, which struck me as being the modern equivalent and a last gasp pitch at the popular market. It was made in China, with licensed Vivitar branding in the later 1990s.

I was impressed with my results. Focus limitations apart and using ISO 400 film (as recommended) the exposure and lens performance are well up there for such a basic camera. It runs on just a couple of AAs too.

Intersting camera. I have never come across one before. These days I suspect I could do with a bigger viewfinder!
That's been my reason initially ut then it tied in with the Brownies. Voigtländer were earlier proponents of large finders of course but many others took them up.

Nice work on exposure/development as the shadows have very good detail along with good details in the highlights.
