Hasselblad 503CW + 120mm f1:4 Makro Planar + 56mm extension tube onto a PhasOne P20 back. ISO 50, 1/125s at f1:16. Lit using a single Bowens 3K head attached to a 3K asymmetric generator (25% output) to one side plus a white reflect at a 45º angle to the right. Raw conversion to 16 bit TIFF in Capture One Pro 6. Rendered as a single image in Helicon Focus Pro 4. Final PP in LR / Nik SilverFX Pro 2.
 
I'm really liking this series of decay and infestation, Pete. One of my favourites of yours is the image of the large rock with similar evidence of the presence of tiny mights. These little bu**ers will take over the world, outliving us all by a few billion years. Very good shots!
 
What huge tree trunks! ;) And so close together. Nice one, Pete, and I appreciate the technical description of the lighting, etc. (Have to learn what it all means yet, though.)
