A scribbling of Snow

For about half and hour we had a veritable blizzard here in Babelsberg, with high winds, thunder, lightning and driven snow. We stayed in!

Sissies! But for a sissy at least you dared take an image through the window pane of a somewhat unwanted condition outside which to me looks very good and colourful but muted. Was that the colours or is the colours of Sony Pete?

Thanks, Ivar. I was even brave enough to open the window as there were too many droplets on it. There a bit of cross-process but amazingly, our neighbours did indeed paint their house that colour!

Big chunks of colour, and a little bit of snow (I agree with Ivar!) but a fine composition. So, Pete, this is the view from your office? I do like the shapes and colours.

Thanks, Rob. No, this is the view from the living room of our apartment. But you can see part of the roof of the studio (the darkroom in fact), to the left - sloped roof above the bird box.

Next question would be, what's the colour of your house then? In style with the rest? And did you try a picture through the windowpane as to get the droplets effect?

Same as on the right, Ivar. That is the front 'wing' of the apartment building. A bit too custard-like for my taste but it wasn't our choice. I did take some with droplets - I'll have a play with them later.
