Great Darren, I've been reading more and more about photographers utilising other forms of media in this digital age. I've never bothered to look into it myself but it's interesting to me when I see others doing it.

You got some crackers there Darren - love the saturated colours

Great shots Darren love fireworks, I too use slide shows I think it's a great way of showing your work as long as the shows are not too long, usually around three to four minutes is about it IMO You can usually get a good track to fit in then.......here's my latest.....haven't done any for a while though...

Thanks Pete, only problem with these is trying to get appropriate sounds tracks and then the time and effort to put it all together, but I like the overall effect.......

Musical Fireworks Championships is a competition between 7 of the biggest & best uk fireworks display companies who all design, choreograph & fire 1000s of fireworks to music in a 18 ish minute display per company. It is set over 3 nights with 2 displays friday, 3 saturday & 2 sunday. The location is Southport marina & gardens near the promenade. The winning comapny as decided via a panel of judges wins the title and some prize money. The event attracts 1000s of people from all over north west, you can pay to be stood at the side of the marina to in theory get the best view. But i am a tight *** so i stand on the bridge over looking the marina with 1000s of other people.

The winning comapny this year was Pyrotech fireworks with this display.
