Abandoned Shed

Lesley Jones

Otherwise know as Zooey
I think this is the last of my shed series - unless I go back to Dungeness again. This one was scanned with the old Coolscan before it died and I had more pixels to work with - the TIF file has sat around for years. I love working with scanned film, but it takes forever. Either frustrating or therapeutic, depending on your mood :)

My, what a brilliant Photo. Love it Lesley . Have often thought about going there , yet troubled that it is a bit of a cliche destination as far a photography goes. But your posting's of Dungeness puts those fear to rest.

I've been away from RPF for too long, come back and find all the great photos I've missed! This one is superb!

I love how it looks in that frame and mount - can I ask if those were expensive?

Many thanks @Julian de'Courcy - I would certainly love to see the results if you did come this way. Can you have a cliche of a destination? I'm not sure. Should we aim for the second prettiest view because the top one has been done to death? Sometimes I wonder about my three-day yearly outings with the camera. Am I wrong to go for the best known locations where I have a better chance of a reasonable image, or should I just wander around and risk getting nothing? Perhaps we should make better use of our locations section. That is... if Hamish has left us with one after the latest pruning :)

How very kind @Shane Johns - I can only thank someone from my previous forum for the action that makes the frame and mount. Very clever little thing that only cost me about £5. We can't have many framed prints at home, so I do it virtually :)
