Possibly my favourite shot from the whole festival, anyone who watched The Sopranos will know these guys as the intro song ' Woke up this morning' is their song. Great band and I missed them when they played here three years ago as I was peed off, soaking wet in the tent when they came on the main stage and played 'Ain't Goin' To Goa' from the album ' exile on cold harbour lane' . One of the albums I'd been listening too as I was travelling around India before heading to Goa. So this year I packed for wet weather just in case, although they played on the acoustic stage this year.

Wonderful shot Vic. Love the dynamics and flow. Mind, I think it might need a tiny bit of straightening (RH mike stand and cable just left of centre) and I'd be tempted to burn in the bright area to the right if possible just so it doesn't draw the eye. What do you think?

Reminds me of the limitation of the X100. Wouldn't be able to capture an image like this.

A great shot indeed vic, really nice b&w conversion
I might suggest a crop to 8x10 to remove the slightly distracting highlight to the left and the third person to the right ...
other than that, a really nice shot, the smokiness in the background is really nice, and adds a nice texture to the OOF

Crops: I've already cropped as far as I dare on the right, I would like to fully crop out the person on that side but I didn't want the microphone just appearing from that side I wanted to show the stand also. Pete my have the best idea with darkening it down a little. The left hand side highlight is a little bit more bothersome to me, rather then a crop I'd think I'd go for some kind of cloning to rid that issue.

Straightening: I haven't straightened this at all, it never really struck me as requiring it. I've just had a look at it and using either mic stand takes it to extreme. Using the closest mic wire gives the best result but not really an improvement over all.

I think its straight, the mic cable hangs straight down, its the mike stands that are wonky! Nice shot, really nice but I do agree with about cropping out the white splodge on the left however.
