LOL indeed. Can't start to imagine myself in a kilt. Have yet to get the tattoos!

Pete, many thanks for going to the bother of locating the slides and then having to scan them to get them on here. Thanks for joining in too Davie with your image. Lovely light on that one. It's always interesting to see how different photographers see things and the different approaches. I was on the island for two weeks and had two weeks of sunshine and high temps, something very rare. Hardly a midge in sight. It seems you had damp weather Pete, did you suffer from the midges. They can be a big problem on the island.

The rain was torrential most of the time but, one afternoon it stopped, just as we were setting up camp near the pub in the centre of the island and the sun came out. Followed by millions of midges. We set the tents up and went to the pub. When I looked in the mirror in the gents it looked like I had contracted some weird tropical disease. I was covered in small red bites. Bastards!
