Another excellent one Brian. From the same roll I guess. You know, I said I thought they looked like TV stills but actually, especially in this case, they have a more painterly look. I know you don't normally crop your images but loosing the tail on the right strengthens the composition I think. What do you reckon?

Thanks Pete. And yes I think you're right. Actually, although this one isn't cropped, I confess that I have cropped one or two of these racing shots in the past week or so. Thanks Pete. By the way, I think I may know why these racing shots I've posted conjure TV images for you. These are all night racing shots, so perhaps it's the track's flood lights, as well as the bank of warm light they use to illuminate the finish line, that give them that look?

Could well be. Even more likely as I haven't watched racing on TV for at least 30 years!!
