Having just won the Austrian state lottery, Wilfried is embarking on a childhood dream. He left Innsbruck Hbf that morning headed for Hamburg where he will join a container ship headed for Buenos Aires as a paying passenger. There he hopes to meet the lady of his dreams while dancing tango in the streets outside of the bars. He plans a new life as an artist in the city of his dreams. He has no intention of returning to Staudach, the small town of his birth, in the valley to the west of Innsbruck. In fact, he hasn't even told his family he has left...

Tintin and Snowy can't be far behind, Pete! Great shot by the way. How you got his heed to be sharp while all else is a blur is beyond me. I love it!

Thanks Brian. I admit I didn't see him coming as it were - it's difficult to see into ICEs - and I was more interested in the joins between the carriages. I think he is sitting on the far side of the carriage and so it is distance travelled relative to the image that is cast on the sensor that results in him being sharpish (and the far window frame) compared with the nearside of the train. Ms Sara must have been involved somewhere as it would be difficult to calculate with an accelerating train.

I understand that Tintin and Snowy have been engaged by his parents (apparently they and his sister are concerned about his well being and are not interested in the 4.6M Euros that he won at all) and are following on behind in the first available steam train!

Wow, can't believe I missed this!
Truely expresses the speed of the ICE bahn. I had the pleasure to sit in one of these from Frankfürt to Köln traveling at a comfortable 300kmp... About 180mph... It was difficult to even comprehend how fast that was when you had a few beverages on board, and the first class is out of this world!
Great shot Pete, and thanks for the memories :)

Ha, that's a pretty nifty ... At what stage did you realise you had got him in?
Sorta looks like a woman to me ... One wy or another he/she looks happy!
