spent today looking at golden aspens in aspen, co. no fall foliage for a few more weeks back home.

Is that cold cheese or melted cheese Glenn? - in England I had a chunk of cold cheese, in CA I saw they melted it on the pie!

Hot pie...cold cheese. I'm on my way for apples right now...drooling.

In England I only had pie without - then I came to CA and they all had cinnamon (which I quite like)

Very nice. Strange that there's not shots of actual pies though!

Had apple, blackberry and Elderberry pie tonight. All from the garden / local hedgerow. Damn fine it was too!

Definitely with cinnomon and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. No cheese.
