Pete, It's come to that time where I've got excited again over one of your shots!!
This shot a PERFECT!!! PP, Framing....... Just Brilliant!
How did you come across this??

Nothing to do with it bieng abandoned...... well, a bit. but this shot is simplistically AMAZING!!!!

Thanks Dan. I had a sequence in mind originally with a sort or story to it but the original scene and the feeling of abandonment was lost that way and that is what I had wanted to convey in the first place.

Of course it is not truly an abandoned place but has been shut up and un-lived-in for about 6 months. It is the large attic of the house, in a small village in Lower Saxony, belonging to Ina's mother and is used to store a few odds and ends and dry sheets etc. But she has been in hospital for some time but is due to come home in a few weeks so we spent the weekend sorting things out and making it easier for her as we don't expect her mobility to be as good as it was.

Very nice, Pete. I like that you can still make out the pattern in the curtain despite the flood of light in the windae.

Lovely toning, shading, vignetting - wonderful stuff Pete

Pete,
This is a stunning shot. The light coming through the window striking the floor and just enough illumination on that empty chair. Nice job man!
