Son #1 does a lot of skating - and somehow seems to manage to fall without breaking anything - it's a skill they learn early!

He did indeed Brian he was quite good actually
I've photographed at our local skate park and there are kids there doing big jumps on bikes, most I can manage is popping off the kerb

I do have a BMX too which occasional comes out of the garage, but it seems that we all had bigger balls when we were all youngsters!!

I've been putting it off for a while now, but I really want to get down to the skate park in Perdi and get some off cam flash shots....... This has encouraged me to pull my fingers out!

Over the summer Dan when doing Workshops with the kids at the Skatepark in Wuzza, I shot a few to give them an idea of what to look for before letting them shoot.

Yea they are Dan, I do it as I work for Worcester Action for Youth and run photo workshops there every so often, defo need a CRB, have to remember that like any where there are younguns there could be problems and consents are a big issue too.

I suppose it makes sense. I do volentry photog work for the sea cadets and although the organisers (that I know in person) were happy for me to take photos.... The parents of the kids there raised a few eyebrows when I got the camera out...
CRB isn't anything without the trust of the rents... And that trust has to be formed first... I suppose that does applies anywhere really....

Love the skater shot Kev. Not normally a great fan of angled shots but love it in this case. Suits the action and subject perfectly. I like the multi-shot bike etc very much too.
