Critique Welcomed And so it ends...

Why would you use LR for spot removal or other retouching and cropping and resizing when PS is so much better for such tasks? Not that I'm questioning your ability to do fine work in LR, because you obviously get some great results.

I really question the superiority of PS for these tasks.... Yes, if you want to clone wires or something like that, but I think LR has the same functionality for channels and levels etc....

I find LR clumsy and counter-intuitive for most tasks. The only reason I use it instead of Nikon's raw conversion software is because of its cataloging abilities.

Hmmm... okay..... I find it very, very convenient for almost all tasks (except doing the washing up :( )
One thing I've learned in almost 30 years of working with computers is that people like to use the software they know. Try getting an office full of people to switch to a new program and, no matter how superior the new one is, they will resist the transition for as long as possible. I know Photoshop. I don't know LR very well. I'm far more comfortable in Photoshop, but it has no cataloging features and Adobe RAW Converter is limited compared to what you can do with RAW files in LR, so I use both.

Yeah, I recognize that, the like-part.....

I find both have the uses but most of the time I find that theres no need to go out of Lightroom. If I need to do a composite then I will use PS but very rarely do I go into it.
