I got quite lucky with it. I knew I would only have one chance at the shot (shooting with a manual camera). The guy took a very long run (as he was vaulting over 5 people) and I released the shutter at what seemed to me the optimum moment. Of course, with an SLR you never know exactly what you captured because of the momentary blackout of the viewfinder. And with a film SLR you can't see the image until you develop it. I don't think I could have timed the shot any better.
