Attaching an image question

Hi all,

I know i'm being a real noob but can I link images from flickr account when posting an image?

And if so how? I have tryed adding the shared link thing to the image logo but it doesnt seem to work.

Get the BB code from Flickr, and paste that into your message here. Usually Flickr gives you too much info, so I remove the last two lines of the BB code.

I post from my Zenfolio site using the BB code as Rob mentions. I don't know how it is with Flickr but with Zenfolio you can choose the size of the posting (small, medium, large or extra large).

under your flickr photo click on the curved arrow. if you leave your mouse on there for a minute it says share photo. in the pop up windows choose bbcode.

i usually just post the [ img ] blahblahblah [ / img ] and remove the rest.

Flickr also lets you choose image size in the process when you select the BBCode. I generally post at about 800 for the largest side.

I find the 800 longest side works OK. I rarely load full resolution images to Flickr but they are up to 2048 largest side. The size described as "medium" is often the 800 max side. You get a choice from thumbnail through large to original.
