Backdrop Stand

Hello there, can anyone please recommend a cheap sturdy backdrop kit? Two lightstands and cross bar for as little as possible.

I have managed reasonably well but my makeshift set up was damaged when being dismantled and I want to upgrade to the real deal. The idea is that it will need to be able to support the heavy backdrops and extend to approx 3 metres or just under in height and just under that for width.

Does it also need to be portable? If not some wall brackets might be suitable.

Sorry, I meant to specify that it must br portable. I don't think the owners would be too impressed if we started fixing things onto the walls like thatt. Admittedly that would have been an easy option if I didn't need to be portable and it was our house.

Backdrop with a Stand

Never used them, but they look very much like the one's I see here in the US - probably from the same factory in China.

Prices are very reasonable

Thanks for the link. Could have gone for one of those, but they are slightly more expensive and I have amazon vouchers to spend.

Chose this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/BPS-Background-Backdrop-Support-Carrying/dp/B006233G9Q/ref=lh_ni_t in the end. Just need some recommendations for places to get large muslin backdrops from now (unless anyone is selling vinyl cheap)!
