This is literally the first shot with a new lens that arrived today, a Meyer Lydith 30mm f/3.5. I took a detour on the way home from collecting it from the Post Office!

I've had that one in my mind for a while, waiting for an opportunity to go up there to give it a go. It works almost as well as I imagined it.

i'm not a fan of the halo around the beacon, but i like the colors. how do you like the lens?

Ouch! Yes, thanks. I didn't know about those, or how they happen. (I am newish to this). Now it has been pointed out, it stands out a mile. Will have to look out for that in future.
I like the lens (esp. for the price I paid), it does seem to do nice things with colours.
