Belvedere

I was hoping for a drawing my MC Escher lol

Nice. Like the way you haven't taken it dead centre.

Oooo that is nice Pete - did you use a filter to get the dark foliage?

Thanks Chris. The foliage was a very dark green anyway and the shadows were dense under the trees (which I wanted to keep). I used a red filter which darkened the foliage a bit but my main intention was to make the path more luminous. I burned the foliage in a touch at the end of the avenues as well as Belvedere itself. I wanted to enhance the sense of stillness and mystery.

The arch grass line with the building's dome and the perspective forest line, all contribute to a wonderful composition, Pete. :)
