Blue Mountains - Bridal Veil Falls

Hi Hamish,

These were with the D300 and 18-70mm. Even that was too heavy for the Gorillapod!

I did use the Panny later but light was fading so the pictures were not great. Overall I like it and would happily use it, especially for travelling light. Now I have to decide who will own it. The EVF is a real bonus for tall people with sore knees!

Man, that looks impressive - nice! :)

Which gorilla pod you got? They make a bigger heavy duty slr zoom one these days ...

I've been missing the panny ... Didint realise how much I used it!!

I have the SLR Gorillapod. I think they design it for the majority of SRL's which are lighter than the D300! I may also have been too knackered to set it up properly after about 2,000 steps down!

I am really tempted to keep the Panny especially with the viewfinder as it makes life easieer for tall people to get a lower perspective without lying on the ground looking in need of medical help.

Here's two pictures taken with the Panny and one with the D300!

BTW you can't have it back! I expect you will really enjoy the Fuji though.
