(i will keep updating this this post with images as i take them)

Fantastic!

Love the way the car is defined by the illuminated parts - did you use a remote flash inside, or the interior lighting?

Cheers Chris, It was just the cars interior lights lighting & head lights.

I am thinking of trying again but moving back a little and using remote flash gun to light up the ground underneath the car / wheels but not the actual car.

Hahahaa!! Thats ace!! I'm well into these posed car shots.
Try putting a masked figure in the driving seat! Hahahaaa!! :) :) :) :)

Nice shot! I tried to buy one of these a couple of months ago but BMW has stopped selling this car in the States because they'd rather sell us Yanks SUVs instead. So I bought a Volvo wagon (XC70) instead. In the US, wagons aren't very popular and are choices are fairly limited.

ooooooooooo do you think that would work?? will give it a go later weather permitting :-)

Oh yes, you're right, guys, because "estate" is a much more logical word for that!

The French, by the way, call them "breaks". That's also funny because it's an English word and an adaptation of the English term "shooting brake", which is essentially a wagon/estate, but with only two doors instead of four. At some point, somebody over there just decided to use the English term to describe it but got confused with the other word, "break", and it stuck!

I have a shot in mind that I want to do, don't have an M5 mind so may have to settle for Woof (Rover), which includes a little smoke a couple of speedlights rear under and maybe green filters...A special for halloween......WoooWoooo!!!

I have the Rover, the camera and the smoke just need a little time..........

Super Shot BTW I did a Jaguar XK a while back but mine was PP'd to create a studio look. This is much better

been playing out and flash wont fire wireless via 7D if i have flash behind car......it needs to be in site of cam flash............errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol

Haven't you any wireless triggers? but would have thought there would have been enough from the cam to fire as slave..........it's a bugger........what about lowering your shoot position, may get some trigger light from under......

it does have a great range but if anything get in way i am snookered.........

I tried all angles and failing miserably.........so i went inside car instead for some close up detail...........just looking at them now
