Bodnath Stupa

The largest Stupa in Nepal just on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Which can be a long walk when the Moaist have told everyone not to use their cars or open the shops for 3 days. How lucky am I every time i go to vist Nepal there is trouble, when I finally make it the whole country is shut down. On the plus side it's a great way to see the city even if it's a bit tiring at times with all that walking. We was lucky the ' strike' ended whilst we was here and we was able to get a taxi back to our hotel.

Great shot - lovely colours and a great lead-in. Great feeling of scale with the tow people in the corner, and that human aspect you never fail to get into your work. Love this one.
