Shot with a very old Leica on HP-5. I found my mainstay TRI-X to be way too thick to sit properly in my scanner so I had to shift to Ilford film for 35mm. I did this about 5 years ago in a mall -- which I was promptly thrown out of for taking photos. I used to haunt malls back in the 1980's and no one ever said a word to me...

I find it curls too much. (In 35mm format.)

I agree with Brian.
I usually end up with Newton rings when scanning TRI-X because the negatives make contact with the glass on my flatbed. I've made some spacers to slip under the negative strip to counteract this but it does slow the whole business down.
