Lighting worked out well, was it slightly overcast?
Gives nice skin without blown-out highlights, and the shadows are nice and soft which really works for portraits.
Nice and sharp, nice DOF to blur the background and separate the subject, and a nice dark backdrop to help the subjects really pop.
