Building a DIY Lens

Come on David, really looking forward to the final product.

You are going to complete it aren't you?! :)

Well to finish this I need to:

Mount the lenses in a lens board
Create waterhouse stops
Buy all dark room equipment
Purchase paper negatives
Find something to take a photo of
Develop photos for the first time
Scan in paper negative and invert into positive
Upload and put on here
All this keeping control of the budget lol
 
Budget??!!! Certainly know how that feels.

When do you think you'll have this completed by?

Update on this...its getting there, just need to add a bag bellow to bridge the gap between lens and body

Small gap I need to bridge to make it light tight:

 
Its sharper than this lens that I have just made a basic lens board for - its a single element meniscus lens with an integrated stop (guessing that is one of the original 'landscape' lenses).
