These images were taken last year -- I am just now getting around to doing the edits/processing of the images.

Near McWay Falls

Near the Bixby Bridge (the bridge is on the right side of the frame). The Bixby Bridge is a fair well known and photographed bridge on the Pacific Coast Highway (south of Monterey). This is a composite of four frames that I have stitched together and cropped to a panorama aspect ratio (it will print out at 18" x 36")

Wow! Two beautiful pictures of wonderful scenery.
Love the way the colour palette changes with distance, really adds to the sense of scale.

The second is the one I prefer. Not really sure why, perhaps with the distant shore and less foreground clutter from trees it seems to go on forever.

Gorgeous views, John. The second is my favourite too. The flow of the composition works better I think and the 'granularity, in the sea is less apparent.

Thank you for your comments, gentlemen. Pete, I see what you are referring to about the "granularity" of the sea. I think that my sharpening method may need to be adjusted for that part of the image.
