Mark, I have colleague who needs a wide lens to shoot interiors (kitchens) on a 400D. How do you think this would perform? His problem with the kit lens is spherical distortion and he's taking shots of the cabinet work of the kitchens he makes.

I still have this lens and I want to buy a full frame DSLR soon so it has to go as it is EF-S
