Ok as posted the other day my Nikon died so its away getting repaired or at least there looking at it :D

In the mean time a good friend of mine has given me a loan of her spare camera. Personally I think she wants to turn me but the force is strong in me :D:D

So at the moment im using a wee 500D with a sigma 50mm f1.4 prime

Couple of my early goes on it

So my first thoughts of the darkside. Well its not nearly as heavy as the 300s :D Seems to work well and everything is at hand just in process of figuring out what works best at moment. As for the 50mm prime its the first prime ive used and its a pain in butt. I keep turning it to zoom in and im like F**K and start walking closer/further away :D:D.........more to follow soon i hope

Hi Allan

Nice couple of images, never used a canon and before converting to the X Pro 1 I was also a Nikon user. I will be interested to hear your views of a Canon..

Nice location Alan - where is it?

BTW - image quality improvement is amazing - did you change something? :D :D :D

HAHAHAHA yer a bunch o funny buggers :D:D

First is Edzell Castle or the remains of it anyway just off main road to Aberdeen. Just before the heavens opened again :D:D
Second is Craigton Park in Fife. Unfortunately Fife council let it fall to bits but there starting to see the error of there ways and started to repair some of it and they have even put the wee train on again that runs round it :)
