I really like the pp in these mate, I think you have it nailed!
An interesting composition in the second one that I think is pretty effective!

Thanks guys.

My hands were shaking and the finger tips were very numb, light was beginning to fade at this point, so I bumped the ISO to 800 on the nifty fifty. I was a bit concerned the way it turned out to begin with, the highlights on the snow was a bit too much on the original (but much needed bump on sensitivity to avoid shake). Corrected it a bit on PP.
but overall I'm happy with it
