A quick trip to Catalina.
About an hour on the Catalina Express will take you from San Pedro or Long Beach (mainland California) to the City of Avalon, Catalina Island (about 30 miles).

Great pictures with the old GF1. I just sent mine, a Lumix G1 to my br-in-law in Toronto. I have hardly used it since I bought it new in 2004 I think it was. His G3 just died on him.

Back in my MFT days. I'm surprised his G3 bit-the-dust. Remembering back to the GF1 ... it was a surprisingly tough old bugger for a small camera. Dunno about the G3, but Panasonic did a great design job on the GF1. Today I'm shooting Fuji.

So now your Fuji is dead? I use Fuji, Oly and Pentax. Love them all.😂

I have two GF1s. I liked my first one so much that I bought a few years ago locally - that I bought a second one just in case the first one died. I usually have the one I use the most set in Dynamic B&W mode with a few tweaks and the pancake 14mm lens. It is an great combo that still takes awesome pics. 1st pic is my favorite! Nice set.
