It was my K1000, but I doctored it in Lighroom 4.
Crosses are fascinating things. I should declare my devout atheism, but, having been brought up a Roman Catholic, I can't shake off a fascination for the symbolism and downright spookiness of dark stone crosses. Many of the so-called Celtic crosses are beautiful things, so much so we tend to overlook what they represent. I went for an angle that seemed a little threatening.

phew, nah joking mate crosses seem to summon up many evocative feelings and thoughts but what ever your views they do make great subjects and allow us to be creative and imaginative with it.......
I did some a while back with my lanes baby and loved them, may revisit this summer and give a little treatment. Stay on the dark side my friend

Lanes baby. Well either Kev's got a dark secret (another one anyway!) or he means a Lens Baby - Lenses for SLR, Mirrorless and PL Cameras | Lensbaby Creative Effects Lenses. I can imagine you'd love one of these - Composer, double optic glass, or one of the originals (try eBay).
Anyway, that aside, I like this cross very much and the PP you've used. Nice and sinister. Great.

Excellent shot...
I like the way you managed a relatively uncluttered background...not always easy to do in the older graveyards.
