Thanks both. Do you mean the lighting Vic? The only change I made before the B&W conversion was to correct the perspective. The lighting in the hall is very uneven.

looking at the leading lines the ledge, just make it look crooked although it's not, theres more left ledge then right

I get you now. Yes, I probably should have stood more centrally. I was sort of put off by the uneven lighting (especially those windows). I'll try again in the morning when, hopefully, the lighting will be better. Actually I wasn't expecting to get much out of this shot given the ISO etc and was surprised how good it was once it was loaded into LR. I should have had more faith!

you could always get rid of the uneven lighting by cutting the right side off on the re shoot.
