The first one would be my choice; it immediately reminded me of the Munch's "Scream".

I must remember to tell my wife (the one pictured) that she recalls Munch's Scream. I am not sure if she would be happy about it, though 🤔
That photo is my fav in this series too, Julian.
 
@Pete Askew, as I have long noticed, you have an extraordinary eye for detail. How did you notice the dog that is semi-hidden by the grating? But you're right, he's the only non-zombie in that photo. BTW, I like the statues too, there's a contrast between Eastern religiosity and Western stereotypes that the framing, dynamics and lighting bring out.
Thanks for the generous encouragement, I'll take that into account.
 
The first is most ghost-like but the next two make me think of ectoplasm and eeriness, the third particularly. I can almost feel the apparition drifting by.
