Critique Required Cokin Z Pro Grads

Hi Guys
Have any of you good people on here ever used Cokin Z Pro Nd Grads with Velvia, i was wondering if you suffered with colour casts, I use these filters myself and I have noticed in certain conditions I get a very a strong purple cast in the sky's.
I just put it down to the film.

Yesterday i read an article on Nd grad filters by a chap called Alex Burke and he said stay away from Cokin as they are not neutral and will give you wonky and funny coulered sky's. This has now made me paranoid about using mine.
He said his favourites are Hitech as these are true neutral and don't give any colour cast..
So this is why I ask your opinions....?

I have no experience with ether Cokin or Hitech but can recommend Lee grads. As with all of their filters, they are completely neutral / on wavelength. I have used their colour correction filters and NDs for years for technical imaging and have a set of grads which used to be used for LF although I haven't used them for a while I must confess.
