Color film recommendation

Hi guys,

I am preparing for the trip to Faroe Islands and I am considering packing few color films with me. Given the time of the year and the location I am expecting the lighting conditions to be quite tricky and since I am not planning to take my tripod with me I think I need to look for higher sensitivity films (min ISO 400). Which film would you recommend?

Thanks!

cheers :)

Thanks for the recommendation Pete! What would you recommend for positive film?

Martin,...At least here in the USA, the fastest color negative film you can get I think is the Cinestill 800 that Pete mentioned or Kodak Portra 800. But you can get Kodak (Portra and Ultramax--which I think is very nice film at a reasonable price) and Fuji (Pro 400H and Superia Xtra) films in 400 speed as well Agfa Vista (which my local camera shop owner recently said is rebranded Fuji, but I'd have to look for myself to know) and Holga.

@Brian Moore thanks for the suggestion. In the end I've ordered:
  • Fuji PRO 400 H
  • Fuji Superia X-tra 800
  • CineStill Xpro C-41 800 Tungsten
and one Velvia 100 for good conditions :)
