Color or B/W

I have this project I am working on called decay that I do when out hiking with the dogs. Everything has to be symmetrical and shot as found. Actually the Ricoh GR is really good for this. Ultimately I will use color but does this one work in B/W or Sepia? It's Silver EFX Antique Plate.

The colour works best for me in this one. The colours show the contrast between the natural decay of the leaves providing the nutrition for the fresh green growth and the man-made bottle that is just decayed.

I agree, but I do like the almost metallic sheen on the B&W one and would try to emphasise that. Have you tried a blue filter in post?

Agree! Colour for me, although B&W often is better for me...
